RE: [qmailtoaster] Qmail Domain Setup
Hi Vijay, You need to setup DNS records for the domain, this is usually done at the registrar's control panel. You need to have an A record like mail.yourdomain.com , your webmail will be at mail.yourdomain.com/webmail And an MX record pointing to mail.yourdomain.com Regards Biju Jose please consider the environment before printing this e-mail. -Original Message- From: Vijay Thakur [mailto:vijay.tha...@loopmethods.com] Sent: Monday, August 13, 2012 12:51 PM To: qmailtoaster-list@qmailtoaster.com Subject: [qmailtoaster] Qmail Domain Setup All Qmail Experts, I have posted my query on many forums, and again posting in Qmailing List. Re: [qmailtoaster] Qmail Domain Setup
Thanks Thanassis, I have checked the doamin status. I am getting error in some sections as given below: Recursive Queries: I could use the nameservers listed below to performe recursive queries. It may be that I am wrong but the chances of that are low. You should not have nameservers that allow recursive queries as this will allow almost anyone to use your nameservers and can cause problems. Problem record(s) are: *208.91.1x7.7x* *199.x79.6x1.7* MX Records: Oh well, I did not detect any MX records so you probably don't have any and if you know you should have then they may be missing at your nameservers! How can i override the these errors.
