Antibiotics given in the proper doses to animals who are sick don't appear to produce resistant bacteria. Germ mutation. Even when antibiotics are used appropriately, they contribute to the rise of drug-resistant bacteria because they don't destroy every germ they target. Bacteria live on an evolutionary fast track, so germs that survive treatment with one antibiotic soon learn to resist others. And because bacteria mutate much more quickly than new drugs can be produced, some germs end up resistant to just about everything. With my vast knowledge of medicine I can say with confidence, I don't know. Have you been around anyone with the Flu? Do you shake hands a lot? If you do, stop it! Disgusting way to greet people. Shaking hands is about as smart as licking each other. The flu is actually hard to spot untill its widespread. If I were you I would take some aspirin for the low temp and drink lots of fluids and get lots of rest. Theres no pill or cure. All you can do is make yourself comfortable. Good luck.
