To be truthful Amy...

I get whomever is driving my van to do the same. Park out towards the end.
It's easier...

IMHO, a power wheelchair doesn't have problems traveling the distances. So,
let the ones less fortunate use the handicap spots.

Again, I just responded that I like the persons post...for many it's so true.

Greg,

Your deleted folder/messages should be in your Outlook Deleted Items
folder if you have not emptied it since you made the deletions. If you
locate the folder/messages, you can click and drag them to their original
location or a new folder of your choosing.

Anyone know how to undelete a mail folder in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003?

We had a mail folder that had some old e-mails in it that got deleted.

There is no Undelete and it's not on the Recycle Bin.

Thanks,

Greg

Re: [QUAD-L] Don't Park In The Handicap Spot

2007-12-29 Thread John S.
I sure don't think public access to transportation is the answer but if the
locality gets a good system running, it is much nicer than wondering where to
park or how to get out. Granted public isn't always right on time. It isn't
right on time for anyone, handicapped or not.
At present I'm fighting to get cell phones to drivers so people get an
accurate ETA. Drivers want it but the company doesn't and hasn't given a valid
reason against it yet.
I've confronted people that were parking in handicapped spots and while there
is nothing wrong with them, they have a doctors permit. If doctors hand out
pain meds and diet pills, bet he hands out those little blue parking permits
like loly pops.
Maybe some of you can get communities to enforce the parking laws in parking
lots that are not publicly owned. Push it as a source of revenue.

Good luck, Happy New Year!
john

Now, now - not everyone is like us in wheelchairs. My MS is called an
invisible
disability for most sufferers.

Heart attack patients can also get the permits because they can't walk long
distances.

My son refuses to use those spots even if I am with him. Says he will push me.
 He
needs the exercise.

Re: [QUAD-L] woohoo

2007-12-29 Thread John S.
Ibots are not covered in Ohio because nobody seems to be able to show a medical
necessity for it. I don't think you can even get a peremobile in Ohio using
Medicaid. On the other end of the spectrum, they want you to prove why you
cannot use a Pride Jazzy or a Quicky. I understand Pride is working on a tilt
in space system and a recline, Maybe they will revive the Everest Jennings
name. (They tried to stick a paraplegic into a hopped up 4wheel scooter over
at the rehab center) I feel any upturn in Medicaid will have to come from the
low end products outperforming expectations. The space shuttle works most of
the time and it is built by the lowest bidders. I've always felt the quickies
were a low cost quality product. Anyone else got any feedback on wheelchairs
that Medicaid has funded or won't fund.
(You aren't suppose to say they won't pay for stuff unless they have been
rejected and no product is rejected solely because of price.) What BS!
Someone set me straight?
We spent 70 years spouting about how stupid Communists were with 5 year plans
and now we go out of our way to create a health care system that imitates an
economic
plan that failed for the exact same lack of ingenuity and practicality.
EOR (end of rant)
Happy New Years,
john
