Re: [QUAD-L] Weakness
I use to get so dizzy after eating. It went away on it's on but it was so bad, it only happened if i hate before about 5.p.m. I went to lunch with my mother once close to home. On the way home I had one traffic light. I could feel it coming on, I couldn't really see what color the light was. Had to pull over for awhile. Blood does rush from the brain to the stomach to help in digestion. Someone told me this, not a doctor. But my issues quit. It lasted about 6 mos Dianna p.s. might want to wear a binder. Re: [QUAD-L] new chair
i sure will! my problem is i ALWAYS gotta watch sidewalks or uneven terrain because my driving bolt gets stuck. :-( i'll let you know about gravel though because my other chair got stuck in deep grade gravel. this one has wider wheels. If you're ever forced to use it outside in uneven terrain (sand or gravel) would you let me know how well it does? I feel like its trying to push me forward. My peeps can see it do so. between the wheelchair tech and my Dave, they think a wedge under the cushion will help. I recline it back a tiny bit and use it like that for now. can't stay this way because I can't get under things. and I'll be driving in it. 25 yrs in a chair in june. My first tilt, my first with lateral support and no canvas back. I chose silver and the wider wheels so I could get the *chrome* wheels i wanted. not worried about terrain so much because my driving bolt for the E-Z lock catches everything.
