I am the same...any sudden noise and I am @!%$*ed up 
for the next ten minutes.but crowd noise, like at a 
football game is fine.

quiet.  Any type of noise is very irritating to me and I also startle easily.

Yes, I'm very sensative to sudden loud noises. At times it feels like noise 
like that hurts right down to my bones. I prefer quite also.

  Dose it bother anybody else when someone else drops like sissor's on a 
tile floor? It goes right down my spine. Even someone crumpling up a piece of 
paper.

Sudden loud noises like that seem to go directly into my bladder area in my 
lower abdomen, it hurts== I guess it has to do with our  nervous system.
