Neuropathic pain is a complex, chronic pain state that usually is accompanied 
by tissue injury. With neuropathic pain, the nerve fibers themselves may be 
damaged, dysfunctional or injured. These damaged nerve fibers send incorrect 
signals to other pain centers. The impact of nerve fiber injury includes a 
change in nerve function both at the site of injury and areas around the injury.

Again I am seeking feedback on Supra Pubics.  Mine is 3 years post but hurts
as the day it was put in.  The urologist warned me of possible neuropathic
pain (whatever that is).  The discomfort moves from the SP sight across my
abdomen, very painful.

mine only gives me pain if I'm either not drinking enough, or if I have an
infection... what size and kind of catheter are you using? What color is
your output when your in pain? Are you taking anything for bladder spasms?
