Re: [QUAD-L] Poopin' & I See a Lot
Hello Liz, Sometimes I go at around in between 12:00 noon to 1:00 afternoon. I have a Bowel Program every morning between 8:00 and 8:30. I do have some Mucous that comes out after the Bowel Program in the morning. I went to the hospital for a UTI and I was Diagnose then with a "Spastic Colon" also there. I had a evening bowel program at the hospital when I first got hurt but, I wanted it in the morning because of the situation I had to come home too. My Mother has been the Primary Caregiver for me every since I came home and she was 70 years old back then. She now 86 going on 87 yrs. old and still doing it. She uses digital stimulation. In the hospital when I first got hurt, they were taking my bowels every other day. I was going out on myself in there also in between the two days. Hello David, Sometimes it is a loose stool but, I've been taking Imodium AD every third night to keep it in check or I might as well stay in bed because it becomes very loose because I enjoy eating vegatables more than I do meat. Such vegatables as raw Celery, Carrots, Cabbage, Broccoli, and Califlower. Mostly Celery and Carrots cause the other ones put a lot of gas on my stomach. I haven't read the web site yet but I will after I get this e-mail off. I want to Thank You both for your responce to this e-mail and as I read some of the other replys to this situation I am dealing with, when and if the others read this here e-mail, it will answer there questions as well. Thanks Again, Chet ( Cquad7 )"David K. Kelmer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: If it is a liquad I think you may want to check for an impaction. Hello to All, I see a lot of people having troubles with being a Quad or a Para here on the Quad-List and thought I would try to cheer some of them up or atleast have them Grin from ear to ear. I've been having troubles with a "Spastic Colon" that keeps me going when I shouldn't. Those that know what I am typing about know how that is and for those that doesn't, well I go Crap even after I have my Bowel Program in the morning between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. every day. I'd be sitting in the ole chair then, I'd be smelling something dead. Well back to bed with dirty pants and cushion. Do any people on this here List have that kinda of trouble and if you do? could you write me back in hopes I could get some help on this matter? Thank You and God Bless, Chet P.S. [QUAD-L] poopin'
Silas, I used to do my bowel program everyday for more than a year when I first got out of rehab. I switched to every other day and it seemed to calm things down. I think all the stimulation of an everyday program was just to much for my body.
