I've seen it happen after batteries were changed by non certified tech who
was in a hurry and did not double check their work. Loose cables don't
issue or generate an systems error codes. But one has to start with basic
energy before going to steps 2,3, 4 , 5 and so on.

I've been out a lot lately, could have happened any time.
I think I just posted about that. Asking if others ever went deed while

My fear is getting stuck middle of street.

Went down a ramp into my front room, and blank. my chair goes dead. Just
turned off. Tried turning on/off, checking wires, nothing. At least it was
at home. Only once has my chair died while I was out. Unfortunately, I
wasn't all the way across the street when it died. Though fortunately my
neighbor was driving by and got me out of the street. Now I hope it doesn't
take weeks to fix, my backup has no batteries.

If you have a multi-meter, place a probe into the charge port and measure
the voltage in the joystick head.
You should have 25-27 volts dc.
