144 was a comprehensive kit delivered on July 7th 1993, in post office red
gelcoat with an electric sunroof fitted .
Donor vehicle was an xr2 mk2 reg no E637 EGU

Hi DaveThanks for the info. Firstly, welcome back to Q ownership!

I've had a look through my Historian records but don't have anything on 
that chassis number.
I have some info on two red saloons without chassis numbers though. One is 
a diesel and the other is a 1600 CVH with the reg. ending in EGU
