[Quantum Owners] Re: Obsolete parts
My local car parts/accessory shop still stocks a lot of parts for the XR2 CVH engine, much better than Halfords, one guy helped build a 2+2, 15 years ago, the other runs an Escort RST, always helpful know what they are talking about. Also EBay can be very good, as the XR2 is fading away there is a surplus supply of parts so can be quite cheap, ( Recon steering rack £11 delivered), I'll bet in 10 years time XR2 parts will go the same way as Escort Mk1 2 parts. [Quantum Owners] Re: Obsolete parts
Hiya Our local motor factors were willing to order one in for me - took a couple of days though. May be worth trying, as the smaller guys tend to have better customer service. Alternately you could get a KN E-9090 - around £50 off eBay, and will last forever. It fits in the same pan as the original paper element. It is considered obsolete and so they're not getting them anymore. Luckily I still have one on the shelf, but I was looking to have a few more for the future. Does anyone know of a decent cheap supplier of these? Chris G -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Quantum Owners Group group.
