[qubes-users] Re: Installed but cannot boot, Dell XPS 9550
Ok, resolved! I had to remove the entry from Dell BIOS and add it again; the path is had set was incorrect. On another note, during setup I used GB keyboard layout to set the password "#&:tempPassword!". I could not then decrypt during boot. Either it is not recognising certain chars in the luks passphrase, or it is using the default US keyboard layout and thus I cannot type the correct password. No idea how to change the layout during boot. I have had to reinstall with default US keyboard layout with password "tempPassword!" and I'm able to boot, so I'm quite sure it's not the symbols but the keyboard layout being the issue here. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Installed but cannot boot, Dell XPS 9550
Hi, I've disabled secure boot and installed Qubes 4.0-rc3 onto an external M.2 SSD in an enclosure connected via USB C. When trying to boot from the SSD, I get a Dell error screen showing "No bootable devices found". I haven't seen this issue reported here yet; has anyone encountered this and know how to resolve? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
