[qubes-users] Upgrading directly from Fedora 23 to 26 ?
I recently had to make a fresh Qubes install. Been trying all night to upgrade from 23 to 26 by different means but it doesn't seem possible. I don't seem to be able to download the 26 template either... It says all mirrors have been used and it fails. [qubes-users] About wifi troubleshooting (Qubes R3.2)
I was wondering if the wifi modules blacklisting fix should only be implemented on sys-net to work properly, or systematically to all VMs in addition to sys-net ? This fix seemed to work for some time, but I often get these times when the wifi seems to be working, but is actually out, no matter how many restarts, unloads and reloads or devices and so on... Suggestions welcome ! PS: I'm running Qubes on a lenovo X220 if it helps -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Propspect : When upgrading to the next stable version of Qubes 4.0XXX
When there will be a stable supported version of Qubes 4., and I upgrade, will I be able to keep all my set ups and docs on each on my VM's ? Or will I have to wipe it all in order to upgrade and install the new version ? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Recommendations for VPN on the debian8 template ?
I've successfully installed a VPN Tunnel as a proxy-VM (on a Fedora 23 template) in my set up. However I don't seem to able to reproduce the same template and make another one using the Debian8 template. Is the process any different ? When trying I get a TLS Error. This actually allowed to do the Fedora update and install the update (including firmwares). I hope this network set up will stay stable ! I know this is unrevelant to this topic perhaps but it is not recommended to not update to higher versions of Fedora (the template is running 23) ? I did and the "allow ICMP" criteria was uncheck for every single VM. So I went now and checked it in order to allow for each of them...
