[qubes-users] Update killed Debian 9 / Kali template. Can't open terminal. What now?
Hi Qubes gurus, I was updating my templates today, which seemed to go fine, until I realized that the Debian 9 + Katoolin VM I made per the instructions on the wiki is now non-responsive: I can't run the updater or even open a terminal. Has this happened to anyone else? Any fallback remediation strategies I should try? Unfortunately, since I was trying to update everything at once, I can't pinpoint whether the issue was a botched update on the Kali template or a result of updating Dom-0. [qubes-users] 3.2-rc3 is awesome...but where is NetworkManager?
I just installed 3.2-rc3 on a Thinkpad T460s and it's great...but the NetworkManager widget is gone. Is there a way to get that or something equivalent on the XFCE panel? I've tried launching NetworkManager from the terminal and that didn't work. nmcli works fine for configuring WiFi, and I get notifications about network changes in the top-right corner of the screen, but still no GUI widget. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
