[qubes-users] Suspension issues after update
After updating with current-testing enabled, suspend no longer works. How do I fix this malfunction? could it be this mistake? Thanks Chris, I had already replaced Stretch with Buster with the command: sudo sed -i 's / stretch / buster / g' /etc/apt/sources.list sudo sed -i 's / stretch / buster / g' /etc/apt/sources.list.d/* I uncommented in qubes-r4.list the candidades and testing reposity. However, I have other lists of repositories due to different tests I did before starting to test on a cloned VM. When I try to do apt dist-upgrade removes me: "The following packages will be REMOVED: qubes-gui-agent qubes-vm-dependencies " Continuing the upgrade the terminal closes and I reach the VM only from the console on Dom0. I saw that there are two templeateVM in the repository qubes: qubes-template-debian-8.noarch: Qubes template for debian-8 qubes-template-debian-9-minimal.noarch: Qubes template for debian-9-minimal user @ deb10: ~ $ sudo lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Debian Description: Debian GNU / Linux 9.9 (stretch) Release: 9.9 Codename: stretch Kernel: Linux 4.19.56-1.pvops.qubes.x86_64 Do you say that it's better for me to start all over again by deleting the Debian templeateVM I use? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Re: qrexec not connected on HVM
Not being able to use devices on virtual machines is a limitation that I don't know if I can stand. I remember that it was possible to pass the entire usb controller to a windows machine without having to install the addons or tools. Maybe it's the fault of some updates, sometimes even the second usb controller disappears in the choice of devices in the tray bar. I searched on the web and on the mailing list on how to resolve "qrexec not connected" but there are only suggestions on using a template based qube. No information on how to solve the problem and no explanation as to why this problem occurs. Also tried to pass the USB controller through the panel of devices in the settings of the virtual machine, first it tells me that the controller is in use by Sys-Net, once killed Sys-Net in the other error logs: 2019-05-17 14:29:52.517+: libxl: libxl_pci.c:1176:libxl__device_pci_reset: The kernel doesn't support reset from sysfs for PCI device :00:14.0 I already had failures with gpu passthrough, in installing bluetooth headphones and now I see that not even the usb controller works on the virtual machine. [qubes-users] Re: Still don't understand how Debian-9 template is connected to Whonix templates
it happens to me that every time I update on debian-9, sys-whonix is started. In fact it does the update only through whonix. This happens only with Debian-9. [qubes-users] Windows templateVM in NTFS disk?
hello, can I install windows 7 os templateVM in a file located in an existing NTFS disk. I almost run out of space on the system disk. I can use dd to create a file system in ntfs disk and then I should attack him perpetually in dom0? thank you -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
