Re: [qubes-users] Upgrading directly from Fedora 23 to 26 ?
Qubes 3 runs Fedora 23 as the dom0. For this reason I assume you are trying to upgrade from Qubes 3 to Qubes 4. This configuration of upgrades is not supported. You must reinstall Qubes using the Qubes 4 installer, then restore your VMs from a backup of your Qubes 3 install. are you saying to run the command "sudo qubes-dom0-update qubes-template-fedora-26" in dom0 ? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. This is definitely the direction you want to go, download the template from dom0 using sudo qubes-dom0-update qubes-template-fedora-26 after it installed the new template, you should start a terminal in iit and run the following inside of that template; sudo yum upgrade --best --allowerasing more info; https://www.qubes-os.org/news/2018/01/06/fedora-26-upgrade/ If that faiils, please specify what you did and how it failed, this avoids guessing on our side :) -- Tom Zander Blog: https://zander.github.io Vlog: https://vimeo.com/channels/tomscryptochannel -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group. [qubes-users] Upgrading directly from Fedora 23 to 26 ?
I recently had to make a fresh Qubes install. Been trying all night to upgrade from 23 to 26 by different means but it doesn't seem possible. I don't seem to be able to download the 26 template either... It says all mirrors have been used and it fails.
