I have a function definition such as f <- function (pattern = ".*\\.txt") {....}
in the manpage this has to be documented as f <- function (pattern = ".*\\\\.txt") in order to get the correct display (with double backslash) in the R console when issuing `?f', but this causes complains from `R CMD CHECK' (code documentation mismatch), which is not nice. question: is there (or will there be with future releases) a way to avoid these warnings without loosing the correct display of the manpage? regards, joerg ______________________________________________ R-help@stat.math.ethz.ch mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.
