I just deployed a fairly clean Radiant instance to a server, and now the
admin style is completely gone. I'm using Phusion Passenger, and it's
basically giving a 404 on all the Admin assets: stylesheets, images,
javascripts. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge about what this
could be? It does show that the request for the assets is going through
Passenger because it's showing up in the Rails log. It is serving the
 Radiant content correctly though.

Have you enabled mod_rewrite?

Hello,

I have a project - radiant-test started. I'm running Kubuntu Linux 8.04.1

 Console output:

You need the OpenSSL interface for Ruby. To install it, open up a terminal
and do:

sudo aptitude install libopenssl-ruby1.8

When I fill those in (username = JayLevitt), it tells me Username has

I'm still seeing this, on both Firefox 3.0 nightly and Safari 3.1... ideas?

You'll get the error message Username has already been taken if the
password you provide is incorrect. So my guess is that you're simply
entering the wrong password.

Hello,

I can update the wiki entry on running Radiant on Dreamhost, if you don't
mind it being without the use of the gem (never seen the point of using the
gem), and with a Capistrano recipe added.

If you find the time to update the wiki, that would nice as your post is a
good how-to.

Just to clarify, I'm starting to take a special interest in the wiki
content, but I have no authority there.

Wonderful writeup and on deploying a Radiant with Passenger (mod-rails).

Maybe someone(tm) with DreamHost access can confirm that it works, then
update our wiki regarding deploying Radiant on DreamHost[1]?
