Hello Dave -

It is not possible to do what you ask, as the CHAP password is 
encrypted. That is why you need clear text passwords in your 
database, so you can do the same encryption and compare the results.

Hi,

Is there a way of getting the password.log file to record CHAP passwords
rather than just reporting UNKNOWN-CHAP as it would help greatly in
diagnosing authentication problems.
