[RBW] ISO Appaloosa/Hungapillar, Atlantis
Hi All! I'm toying with the idea of picking up another Riv. I'd like this rig as a dedicated light off roader/camper rig. Maybe you have a collection of Rivendell's and maybe one of the below is gathering dust because your in love with another bike Rivendell just a tad more. No worries we won't tell the other fine rigs in your stable :) Here's what I'm looking for: Appaloosa in size 51cm Hungapillar in size 48cm or perhaps a Bombadil? Not sure of the sizing here? 2018 and above Atlantis in 53 cm As a 4th option I'll consider a Clem Jr in a 52cm My PBH is 84cm and my saddle height is ~71.5cm Ideally I'd like a frame & fork as I like to spec my own build like many others but depending on the mix of parts you have will consider a complete build. I'm in Los Angeles and will pay for shipping or if within 600 miles consider a road trip? Lemme know what you have and we can chat. [RBW] FS: Ultradynamico 650B Cava JFF Pair, Brooks C17 Orange, Nitto Stems
I have the following items for sale. Ultradynamico 650B Cava JFF Tires - Black - I ran these on my protoveleo Gallup for like 100 miles. Almost new. They are really nice but just push the envelope for what fits with the brakes so I moved down in size to a 42. These say they are just shy of 48 and on my Pacenti rims that was 100% accurate. They pretty much almost say 48. If they made them a little smaller I would have gotten them. They were set up tubeless and have some residue but will be fine for tube setup as well. *$75 shipped* Brooks Cambium C17 All Weather Saddle - Burnt Orange - Brooks calls this burnt orange but its almost similar to a well worn honey leather saddle. All weather version. Maybe 150 miles. Gave this a shot but went back to a Fabric saddle which has been my favorite. Beautiful saddle with no wear. *$80 shipped* Kalloy 26.8 Seatpost - Brand new and never installed. This is what comes with the Riv stock builds. They are super nice - *$35 shipped* Nitto Technomic 90 Stem 25.4 - Good used condition. No significant scratches or marks - *$35 shipped* Nitto Deluxe Long 90 Stem 26.0 - Good used condition. No significant scratches or marks - *$40 shipped* Sunrace Thumbshifters 3x9 Indexed - I think that while these are indexable up to 3 and 9 you can also index anything below. I don't think they can do friction. They are brand new and never installed - *$40 shipped* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. [RBW] Re: FS: Roadini 54 $1400
It looks like the Roadini has TRP RRL brakelevers on it. Setting up brake levers on Albastache (and similar) handlebars is a touch tricky, and 'ergonomic' brake levers like the RRLs are in a way worse for Albastache type bars, in my opinion. They flare "out" on drop bars and make them easier to grab from a couple different positions on drop bars. When you put them on Albastache bars, they now flare "up" which is weird on the wrists. I use SRAM brake levers on Albastache bars, and on a whim, I set them up swapped. Trade them left with right and now the lever blades flare "down" and it's a lot better grab. Since the bars are not taped in the photos, I'd recommend your prospective buyer flip them. If you want to do your buyer a favor and want to have a small project, try them swapped. The place the cables exit the levers is now 'on top' which is a little unusual, but in my opinion that's fine. Re: [RBW] To My Platypus People!
Yes, it's a beautiful area and shrouded in rain clouds now so I was lucky to hit such nice fall weather. Roberta, good eye! Actually, it's a seat pack I loaded with my spare tube, tools, etc and hung it upside down, strapped to the frame with a Voile strap I found at the dog park. It's a great spot for the gear. Interesting to hear about your Platy on the dirt MUP...what size tires are you running? --Joyce On Monday, September 27, 2021 at 5:19:05 AM UTC-7 Bones wrote: > Beautiful. [RBW] Re: FS: Roadini 54 $1400
Bumping. $1300. Also selling a Black Mountain Cycles 53 cm and Soma Grand Randonneur 59cm. Let me know if you are interested. Not Rivendell bikes but some commonalities. I live in Portland and would love to sell locally. https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0Z55Z2WMId7r8 On Friday, September 17, 2021 at 4:52:12 PM UTC-7 Jonathan D. wrote: > [image: IMG_3323.jpeg] > > > I am selling my 54 Roadini.
