I'm glad it worked for you! Mine is still holding. I did a 10 mile mile 
ride today with lots of hills and shifting and no slippage. The Silver2 
shifter is nice is operation and in looks. Friction shifting is now my go 
to after years of indexing and saying I had no interest in friction 
shifting. Being open minded is a good thing!

My daughter and I rode to Bon Iver concert last night in Portland ME and 
happy to report that the longest line we stood in was not at the merch tent 
or the sushi burrito and cupcakes food truck but rather at the BCM valet 
bike parking area after the show.

Anybody have any recommendations for bike fitters on the East Coast, 
preferably somewhere between Virginia and Florida as I am traveling north 
at the end of July. I am just looking to basically optimize what I have, 
not reinvent my bike.
