[RBW] Re: MTB hints in yesterday's Blahg?
A Rivendell frame with a threadless front end would definitely have my interested. I've passed on Rivs in the past because of falling out of favor with threaded front ends. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. [RBW] WTT: 63cm Rivendell Romulus (Canti-Rom) for something bigger
Hey folks, So Luke recently sent me this lovely 63cm Canti-Rom and after eagerly unpacking the frame and measuring it all out today, I'm afraid that it is going to be too small for me (6'3'' with 37 inch legs). So in the off chance that one of you has something bigger and wants to trade, please let me know. I'll be having a custom made for me over the next few months but I do need a special something to ride until the custom is finished. Thanks! (I'm located in the Bay Area) The frame is still wrapped in protective material so I'll defer to Luke's images for now. [RBW] WTB: Rivendell Redwood
Just in case the 63cm Canti-rom I just bought does not fit, I'm on the lookout for a Redwood. Let me know if you have one you'd like to part with. [RBW] Wanted: Rivendell Redwood
I recently bought the 63cm Canti-Rom Luke had for sale. It's not even here yet but I'm already considering a Redwood. Depending on how the Canti-Rom fits (hopefully it does), I might need to sling my long legs over a Redwood instead. Plus, I like the green. If you have one, and are looking to part with it, please let me know. Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group. [RBW] Re: Sackville Bar Sack review needed please.
I was interested in a handlebar bag/decaleur and front rack setup until I started looking into saddlebag options. Have you considered something like a Dill Pickle large saddlebag or the Riv Sackville saddlesacks? On Wednesday, October 1, 2014 1:50:50 PM UTC-7, lungimsam wrote: Considering this clamp on handlebar bag. But was wondering: 1. Does the NITTO bag holder hold tight, or rotate down under the weight of the bag and its contents? What about on bumpy terrain? 2. Does the bag sag, since there is no rack under it? 3. Is it as waterproof as a Carradice Pendle/Barley/Nelson, etc. traditional saddle bag? 4. Does the lid open away from the rider, so you can access while riding? *5. I do commuting and recreational road rides up to centuries, maybe try for a 200k sometime. Any reason why I should bypass a setup like this and go whole hog and get a way expensive decaler/rack/Berthoud-ish set up instead? Or will this be great for my needs?* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group.
