[RBW] A different Mustache/Albastache set-up?
I have my Quickbeam set up with Albastache bars with some Velo Orange grand cru city levers which fit 23.8mm bars. These ones, I think: https://velo-orange.com/collections/brake-levers/products/grand-cru-brake-levers Works pretty nicely. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. [RBW] Re: Kid/Haulin’ Trailer Recommendations for Clem.
I’ve been pulling my twins in a Thule Chariot 2-kid trailer for the last couple of years. They just turned three and still fit - tightly. I’ve found it to be pretty good. It also works okay for hauling a case of beer home from the bottlo (sans kids, obvs). -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. [RBW] FS in Australia - 62cm Hunqapillar
Hi all Selling the hunq frameset I bought off here a few years ago and have shamefully never even unwrapped. Astonishingly, having two-year-old twins limits my time for bikes and other hobbies. Who knew? Having paid to get the thing posted across the Pacific it's almost certainly not worth posting it back to the States, so probably for Australian viewers only. Happy to discuss if one of you is very set on buying a Hunq this week, though. The price probably looks horrifying to American readers, but it's in Australian dollars! [RBW] Do you have a ROHLOFF hub on your bike ?
I’ve got one on my Hunqapillar. Love it. Built the wheel and installed it myself, which was easy except for putting the cables around the little bobbin in the external shifting mechanism. Have one of the torque arms mounted along the chainstay, which is good now that it’s double bolted in place - on my first install the torque arm twisted while in a low gear. Admittedly I weigh >120kg, which is like 1000lb... I tow my 15 month old twins to daycare with the Hunqapillar three days a week. I must get around to posting pictures of my bikes, half of which I bought from people on this list. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. [RBW] FS - Orange Quickbeam complete - 64 c-to-c
Noting Matt B’s view on whether this is a 64 or 66 in Riv’s sizing, would you mind measuring the standover height? At the risk of getting myself into trouble, how would you feel about international shipping (to Australia)? Ruinously expensive, but needs must. [RBW] Re: FS: 62cm Rivendell Simpleone $1200 shipped, and more (thinning the herd)
Hi John What's the rough stand over height on the SimpleOne - I can't find a geometry chart anywhere that includes stand over. Rusty trigonometry indicates about 91cm, but I could be well off. Second and possibly more problematic question - would you be prepared to post it internationally (for some extra money, of course).
