Have you considered a “Soma Lucas 3”? Approx. $60 I believe. Comes in black and silver. I have one and use it with a 137 and like it a lot. Might work well with a 139. Do keep the amount of weight you might want to carry (for safety) in mind though. Paul, I'm the same age as Bill and feel exactly as he does. Still sharp on the bike versus the car. I commute daily and on the weekends have "joy rides" with my wife on road bikesoften in high-traffic areas. We both frequently remind each other to ride (very) defensively and then focus on holding our lines, always expecting the unexpected from cars and sometimes a fellow cyclist. Perhaps if you found a riding partner or went out with a friendly group would alleviate the apprehension?
