2013-06-17 Thread oren
i will keep posted and as the camping location gets set in stone i will
help with possible ride ideas. i know the county well and i may be able to
offer great on-road/ off-road suggestions.

Slight talks on the other threads. Like to clean things and get things
 semi more organized.
Lets make this happen I'm off for the summer and I wouldn't mind driving
 down somewhere in the middle.

 Any ideas?

[RBW] Re: So.Cal Vs Nor.Cal Rumble ?

2013-06-10 Thread oren
i live in SLO. all stated above are great ideas. another suggestion for the
camping would be biddle co park. i believe there is camping there. it isnt
too inland (not incredibly hot). it is out edna valley area so therefor it
is close to the train station and it is an absolutely beautiful bike ride.
there is also camping very near by at lopez lake.

[RBW] rack suggestions

2012-04-26 Thread oren
well i have a newer atlantis and i cant help but notice the threaded holes
at the top of the fork (fork shoulder). does anyone know of any racks that
would mount into these threads? i would prefer a porteur or cargo style
rack. i have a paul flatbed rack, and yet i dont like how it mounts on the
quill stem, i feel it makes the front of the bike look too busy. since
the threaded holes are there, id love to use them. any suggestions?
