Wishbone 3 in 1. Transitions from a strider trike to a strider 2 wheel.
Depending on how you put it together it can be taller or shorter. My grandson
rode it from when he was 1 until he got a pedal bike when he was 4. It still
fit, and he’s a tall boy. It has moved onto to grandson #2.

The one I bought was wood, but they also make them in recycled plastic now as
well.

[RBW] Balance Bikes for Bouncing Babies

2019-03-11 Thread BRETT ROBINSON
We started with a woom. Our son got his at 2 and basically took off on it. Rode
that until 3, then got a woom pedal bike. They’re great bikes. Good quality and
light (that’s so important for kids, IMO).

[RBW] Balance Bikes for Bouncing Babies

2019-03-11 Thread Edwin W
I like pneumatic tires because they are quieter. Some like plastic because they
are lighter. Probably doesn’t make a huge difference, though pneumatics might
last a touch longer.
I always have pushed my kids a bit faster into the next size bike than I
probably should... three kids in I am getting better. Let them lead the way, to
tell you when they want to move up tot he next stage or next size.
CL should have several options for skuut, strider, etc. I would offer $30 cold
cash for a good quality one.
Like others have said, the transition from balance bike to pedal bike is super
easy and smooth.
Good luck!

Edwin

[RBW] Balance Bikes for Bouncing Babies

2019-03-10 Thread Justin August
Hey folks-
I want to look at a balance bike for my daughter. Lots of choices out there and
want to get one that can grow with her for a reasonably long amount of time.
It’d be nice to be able to have the same bike transition with her to be able to
ride a bit on the dirt since we have great flat-ish areas in the dirt to
practice here.

Any thoughts on brands or models?
How old were they and how long had your kid been walking before going to a
balance bike?
Any tips?

Justin
