Patrick:

Kucharik still offers genuine leather chamois as a $26.50 upcharge in their
shorts. Chheck out their wool and Helenca shorts.

To the OP: Zoic sells a variety of shorts liners with various pad thickness.
I usually wear an unpadded under layer of lycra with silver ions under an
unpadded wool short, but sometime on long rides I want a little padding. Then
use a Zoic liner under my shorts.

Re: [RBW] Bike shorts/ Liners

2020-07-28 Thread Patrick Moore
Does anyone still make wool shorts with chamois liners? I also hate the
huge thick pads in many lycra shorts, but I've worn old Kuchariks under
Rapha touring shorts and found them very comfortable. But my wool/chamois
shorts are quite old.

Have you looked at Andiamos? Riv used to sell them in that approximate time

[RBW] Bike shorts/ Liners

2020-07-28 Thread Joel Stern
I have been on the hunt for bike shorts or liners that had just that small
chamois like they had about 12 years ago. The only things I can find now
have a huge bad in the bottom that make it a very uncomfortable experience
to ride in. I would rather just ride in shorts and underwear than those
bulky things. I would consider spandex to put under shorts if I could find
some with a small chamois but they all see huge.

Any suggestions?

thanks in advance
