I'm pretty sure that's a trick of the camera lens (wide angle), and that 
those are two photos of the same bar.

I think that's just keystone effect.  You can see it too in pictures of the 
moustache and Mark's bars (to a varying degree).

Makes sense, the point about wide-angle lens. If there's some moderate 
flare, as Grant noted, then the front view would tend to minimize that 
flare (might look more parallel) and the rear view would exaggerate that 
flare. Physics is phun!

Well they do come in different witdths, 55cm and 58cm so that may explain
why they look different. Anyone have any conjecture as to whether these
will take bar end shifters?

I remember talk of different test models of the Bosco.  There were 3 or 4
of 'em, if I recall correctly, so would suspect the differences have to do
with that design evloution.
