Bump, now with new mo bettah 13cm Tallux stem. It looks slightly comically high

slidey marks on someone's new stem if they buy the bike. Buy it, slam it!

I'm glad it's too small for me, otherwise I'd be very tempted, and I've
just had to shell out $1750 for car repair. If my daughter didn't use the
car (I put no more than 1,200 miles/year on it, if that) I'd not bother
with it.

[RBW] FS: Pashley Clubman 54.5-56

2018-04-05 Thread Joe Bernard
Cross-post from BOB: Pashley Clubman set up as a 2-speed, made in England, nice
light traditional road bike with 531 tubes, listed as a 21.5 inch frame on
their site. I bought it on the BOB about 18 months ago in pretty much new shape
and it's still in that condition.

It started as a Clubman Country (link below) which is a standard
double-chainring dropbar road bike, then slowly morphed into a lighter
Paul-ified version of their Clubman Urban. Scroll down in that link for that
one, it's the same frame with 2-speed IGH and drum brakes.

Wheels and seatpost are stock. Sugino wide-low from Riv, 40-26. Some kinda
Shimano or Tange BB, whichever was on the Cheviot I pulled it from.
Paul Melvin tensioner, 17t cog with spacers and a Gear Clamp.
Old Mavic double front derailer shifted with a SunRace clickety-friction
thumbie.
Brand new NOS Dia-Compe levers, super nice, I just installed them.
Paul Racer brakes.
New V-O Milan bar, new Ergon grips, nice Nitto threadless 12cm stem looking
horrendous on a V-O quill converter. Quill has some insertion marks, but the
smudge you see above the headset is grease I forgot to wipe off after raising
the stem. You'll be changing this anyway; use it to decide if you're happy with
stem length or need different, then buy the appropriate Nitto quill 25.4 stem
and sell that threadless thing!
Grand Bois Cyprés 700 x 30 tires.

Also comes with original derailers (105), cranks, BB and 8-speed cassette.
No saddle, pedals or bags.
$1400 shipped Bike Flights or reasonable offer.

Great fast bike, I'm happy to keep it if it doesn't sell but I want to snag one
of those Lightning Bolts Analog Cycles is selling. Make an offer!
