Re: [RBW] For Sale-58cm Atlantis Frame/Fork/Headset
Aaron, I wasn't as patient as you I pulled the trigger on my 56 Atlantis after studying the geometry charts...I decided on the 56cm for the extra stand over clearance for off road use. Today I jumped on list member Doug' 58cm and feel sure I could have ridden a 58 just as well. Bottom line I love my 56 no regrets. Bill, congratulations! Looking forward to the build. -Hugh Los Angeles, CA On Thursday, November 13, 2014 10:52:04 PM UTC-8, AaronY wrote: RE: the 56 vs 58 Atlantis. I recently bought a used Atlantis. [RBW] For Sale-58cm Atlantis Frame/Fork/Headset
Hi everyone, For sale is my 2005 or 2006 Rivendell Atlantis 58cm frame and fork. It is a great frame and I have made a lot of memories with it, but after about nine or so years of trying to convince myself it fits, I’ve finally realized it’s just too small. I am the original owner. The bike was ridden in and around Northern California on and off road since I bought it and the paint is representative of this. There are quite a number of paint dings and scrapes with the most significant being shown in the images, but the damage is confined to the paint and is not affecting the tubes. The frame was never crashed, and is structurally sound and in alignment. Images can be found HERE https://www.flickr.com/photos/128926515@N04/sets/72157648844502288/ Geometry and specs HERE http://cyclofiend.com/rbw/atlantis/atlflyer/09.html I am located in SF. A local sale would be preferred since nobody really likes dealing with SH, but I will ship. Contact me off list if interested. I am asking $1000 for the frame/fork/Ultegra headset + SH. Oh, snap, and what am I missing for a build kit.. I have the full wheelset, I have bar/stem/brakelevers. I have brakes, front and rear ders. I have shifters, crankset BB pedals. I have a couple Nitto racks, a whole grip of sackville bags. I even have a good rainbow stack of several shades of Newbaums. I think I might need a saddle, but aside from that, I'm totally ready.
