[RBW] Re: Bad Boy Sam Hilborne got his albas inverted for a late summer afternoon ride
Looks great, Tom. Intriguing about the hand positions. I have a hard time imagining how you get more hand positions, could you tell me more? Hope you like the new set up Tom. I enjoyed the same setup all summer on my 650B trek a but just disassembled it to go to noodles. It's a great looking cockpit IMO. [RBW] Re: Bad Boy Sam Hilborne got his albas inverted for a late summer afternoon ride
Hi Patrick, There are a continuum of of possibilities for hand positions in the standard or inverted configurations. I was not using them in the standard configuration. I organized things so that being on the grips was optimal for me. Moving out to the hooks made me too far and too low at the same time. Inverting the bars, and raising the stem so I still had my good grip position put the hook position in a much more comfortable place. Between the grips and the hooks is now more comfortable. It's probably just me. I would not prescribe it or preach it to the rest of our folks, but it is something to try. And it does present a different ascetic approach to bars. Take care and blessings, Tom On Sunday, September 15, 2013 5:54:04 AM UTC-7, Deacon Patrick wrote: Looks great, Tom. Intriguing about the hand positions.
