Patrick, glad you kept your head in it, so to speak. Your pictures are
always gorgeous, hope your head mends quickly. It's too nice a season to
miss much of if possible. Thanks for sharing your experience.

[RBW] Re: Bikepacking Pikes Peak

2015-10-17 Thread Deacon Patrick
Thanks, everyone! The most surprising thing about this trip (yes, even with
the getting run off the road right out my front door) was not a cloud in
the sky, sunny and warm. I don't think I've had even an S24O without wet.
It was weird. Grin. I kind of liked it. I do wish I wasn't such a "Wee,
sleeket, cowran, tim’rous beastie" in the face of every "Till crash! the
cruel coulter past." Sardonic grin.

With abandon,
Patrick

Great looking place to ridealthough, I fear the altitude would kill me.

Thanks for the ride report and the little video at the end of the
photos...I enjoyed them quite a lot.

That's a great beard you have there; I'm jealous :)

Patrick:

Enjoyed your photos as always. Just yesterday a friend of a friend sent
pix of fall in Colorado that look similar. Beautiful country. Sorry to
hear about your truck incident but glad you're able to write about it. The
appeal of getting away from the highway seems to increase over time. Hope
we see some snow shots soon!
