[RBW] Re: Butternut touch up?
I know from my experience of buying a 2020 orange Roadini (47cm) and a 2022 orange Roadini (50 cm), the colors are very close but not identical. My 2020 is a very slightly richer, darker shade with a tiny hint of flake in it whereas the 2022 color is a bit lighter and brighter with no flake. I prefer the 2020 orange. The standard advice from Riv is to find a fingernail polish you think might work and don't expect a perfect match, even same-color touchup paint tends to be noticeable as THIS SPOT IS DIFFERENT. They also advise to not care about that, put a clearcoat on or a pink dot! My impression from the photos is the new butternut is somewhere between dark gold and the old Appaloosa color.
