Och! Disregard my advice then. I had to look up those words. I'm still
(gingerly) scratching my head.

With abandon,
Patrick

Sorry, yes, I applied shellac.
I'm not opposed to a bit of grime and sweat on the tape; but if there
happens to be an easy way to make it look a bit more presentable, then I'd
be grateful for any hints.
Many thanks,
Kevin

Beausage!

I no longer treat my Newbaums and really like the way it wears sweat, dirt,
and grime and still solid, soft, and grippy without being cushioned. Of
course, you could replace it, but that would be throwing away thousands of
miles of beausage. Grin.

Patrick

I spray a little Woolite carpet cleaner and sponge off the grunge. I'm
okay with a little beausage, but not on the bars. It just looks grungy
IMHO.

I've got some h'bars that have 5+ years of beausage the h'bars with
barely 2 months of usage just ain't the same. A li'l shellac some time
they'll be great. Enjoy the sweat goop that accumulates (just a humble
suggestion) change when you change the bars, not a moment sooner!

Best,
Eric

Do you apply shellac to your tape?
