Re: [RBW] Re: Crust Harvey Mushman Bars?

2023-03-21 Thread Justin Kennedy
This is super helpful, thanks for sending! I would def prefer the
Crumbworks bar but as you mentioned they’re hard/impossible to find right
now. I’m second guessing myself on the Mushmans bc I want more backsweep.
These pics really helped thanks again!

[RBW] Re: Crust Harvey Mushman Bars?

2023-03-19 Thread Stephen
Haven't used the mushman's, but I recently had the Nitto b802AA 720mm on my
lighting bolt in the city. Similarish, but they have a 15ish degree sweep
and only 2" of rise. I really like this style of swept riser bar, but
switched out because I would get stuck in traffic sometimes since they were
so wide. The 15ish degree sweep feels very similar to riv bullmooses, and I
personally find it very comfy. Planning on putting these bars on my Joe
since I think they'd be great for trail riding.

soma also has them in a 660 width for
$80..

[RBW] Re: Crust Harvey Mushman Bars?

2023-03-19 Thread Bones
I did that exact thing on my Xtracycle Stoker. I went with the 24 degree
bars and trimmed maybe 2-3cm(?) from either end. I don't remember how long
the stem is but its more than 5cm. Maybe 8-10cm. I love 'em. I think you
will too. I also have another pair I plan on using for a future MTB
build someday.
