[RBW] Re: DaVinci Splitters - They're AWESOME!
well, with all due respect, the bike is so breathtaking (I think) that my eye tends to stop at the insignificant details while trying to assimilate the entirety of the design. I've kept the picture up on my screen deciding how I'm going to justify getting another bike. best tom s. On Sep 28, 7:25 pm, Montclair BobbyB montclairbob...@gmail.com wrote: Gee, Tom... Don't you want to hear about the DaVinci splitters??? I mean... last evening I swapped out the drops with the bullmoose (including hooking up the brakes and shifters)...all in 4 minutes, 21 seconds flat. NO LIE!!! OK, ok...the light. It's a Schmidt Edelux, which runs off the Shimano DH-3n72 dynamo hub. You can purchase this light from Peter White, Clever Cycles, or SJS (in the UK). I purchased mine from SJS, and it shipped with the mount you see (which simply bolts onto the Nitto mini rack). Hope that helps. For the brakes, since I'm running linear pull / V brakes, I just picked up an extra set of noodles, and disconnect the brake cables at the brakes... very simple and effective.
