[RBW] Re: Easy Grabsack mod

2013-02-18 Thread William
Easy to do, doesn't look bad, and adds exactly 73.756% usefulness to
the thing.

Excellent mod, and nice Grantish turn of phrase. We should have a Group
Writing Contest. Everyone has to submit a post writing in the voice of
Patrick Moore imitating Grant.

strap here doesn't have to carry the weight.

I used cheap by-the-foot nylon webbing from the nearby hardware store.
I wanted thinner webbing to match the shoulder strap but they had
none, and I'm glad after the fact that I did use something wider as it
is more comfortable around one's waist.

The bag is just the right size for casual loads on the gofast, as in
swinging by the PO on the way home. I carry a Velo Retro musette
stashed in the seat wedge but the Grabsack is larger and carries
 weight much more comfortably.

Excellent mod, [Thanks. It works very well.]

and nice Grantish turn of phrase. [I dare not compare myself to him.]

We should have a Group
Writing Contest. Everyone has to submit a post writing in the voice of
Patrick Moore imitating Grant. [But remember that I am merely a figment
of this group's imagination. Or something.]
