Hi Joel,

I also own both the Sackville and the Acorn bag. The Acorn can expand quite a 
bit aft from the pics and has an inner closure to keep the contents from 
spilling out. The shape and the side pockets are what makes the Acorn work 
better, for me at least. Shape has no thigh rub.  Side pockets are perfect for 
phone, wallet, small tools what could be tough to dig out. 

But either is a good choice.
