make me an offer I won’t be offended, but don’t be offended if i don’t
reply. Please send all messages privately.

leave it up to you based on your comfort level on the type of paypal to use.

Prices do not include shipping --I’m on the east coast so shipping will be

Brooks Challenge Tool Saddle Bag, Black,

This is the small leather tool bag, i picked this up second hand and one of
the bolts had come undone on one of the straps, i replaced it with a nut
and bolt, you can see the bolt on the inside. There is some scratches and
wear on the leather, it could use a good polish. The straps are a little
crunchy and stretched out, but it still feels like it will hold.

---

Shimano LX V-Brake,

Single v-brake (1 wheel), the pads are nearly worn down so you’ll need to
replace soon, no pics but will take some if you really need them.

Shimano Barend Pods No washers:

Either order some regular square washers from Riv to use non-shimano
shifters OR

Order some Shimano washers to run shimano shifters (either from Riv, or i
can give you the Shimano part-number to order from your LBS). If you want
to use non-shimano shifters, you will need to modify the mounts--send me an
email for details

IRD Top Shifter Mounts Only:

Used, sized for roadbars (25.4) so you will need shims to mount these to
other (22.2) (not included, though $3 online)

please read-up on these and think about what shifters you want to use,
as-is these would work with non Shimano shifters (Shimano shifters need a
special washer, which Riv sell). I mounted a set of Suntour DT shifters,
right side was fine but left side was a little loose--would need an
additional washer/shim. You may not have that problem but FYI. I’ve
included a picture of these mounts with Suntour DT shifters mounted as an
example.

Shimano UN26 BB, 68x113:

mounted and used, threads look clean

Velo Orange Grand Cru Quill Stem: See specs at VO:
https://velo-orange.com/collections/stems/products/grand-cru-quill-stem

120mm extension, super shiny, a few fine scratches from handling, but never
mounted, no insertion marks. Has a mount for a temple bell.

Nitto technomic stem:

Classic riv popular stem, 80mm extension with 225mm quill.

has 1 big pocket instead of two separate ones on the front, with a single

is still really dark. You can use this without a rack or decaleur (and i
don’t think using a rack would actually help) the bag sways as you
pedal--but there are d-rings on the corners in the front where you could
secure it with some twine, will work with drop bars the best. You can get
this to work with alba and moustache bars but it will require some creative
arrangements with twine to the brake levers to secure it.

Minh, is that Minouri rear triangle kickstand all aluminum? Does it have a
model number? Is the rod length fixed or adjustable? Did you use it for long?
What are its pros and cons? How much with shipping to 66502?

you’re interested in anything, I’m in the Washington DC area.

All prices below are before shipping--if you want something please send me
a message with your zipcode and i will calculate totals. if you buy more
than one item then i will combine shipping as best as i can, there is a
photoset here -> https://goo.gl/photos/9NfCPWYZ6BJEL13f6

If you want more photos of an item, please let me know. If you want to
make me an offer I won’t be offended, but don’t be offended if i don’t
reply. Please send all messages privately.

For payment, i accept either Google Pay (preferred) or PayPal. I will
leave it up to you based on your comfort level on the type of paypal to use.

And a few terms to keep in mind.

Prices do not include shipping (I will charge you actual USPS
shipping)--I’m on the east coast so shipping will be less the closer you

Brooks Challenge Tool Saddle Bag, Black,
This is the small leather tool bag, i picked this up second hand and one of
the bolts had come undone on one of the straps, i replaced it with a nut
and bolt, you can see the bolt on the inside. There is some scratches and
wear on the leather, it could use a good polish. The straps are a little
crunchy and stretched out, but it still feels like it will hold.

Baggins Handlebar Bag:
I believe this is the pre-cursor to the hobo bag, it looks a little smaller
then a true hobo bag and the pockets on the front are different, this one
has 1 big pocket instead of two separate ones on the front, with a single
flap. Some light grease stains on the bottom where it got close to the
tire (looks worst in pics). Otherwise in very good condition, the leather
is still really dark.

---
Shimano LX V-Brake,
Single v-brake (1 wheel), the pads are nearly worn down so you’ll need to
replace soon, no pics but will take some if you really need them.

Silver Bar-End Shifters and Pods,
A little bit of shop-wear but never mounted.

GranCompe Shifters on Silver Pods,
New, never mounted

Panaracer Pasela (almost) matched Pair:
This is an almost matching pair, 1 700X35 wirebead tire that’s been fitted
and ridden a few miles, the center whisker is still there. 1 700X38
folding tire that’s NIP. The protective plastic is still on the side
printing, both are skinwall but one has red logo and one has blue if that
affects your matching sensibilities! The 700x35 wire one is mounted right
now because when i took it out of the closet it was a funny shape (it was
under some

Berthoud 372 Panniers (Gray), $300
This is largest of the Berthoud panniers. It has a 49 liter capacity. There is
a large compartment and a smaller pocket on the outside. These expand with the
side-lacing so they store pretty flat when empty but expand and can hold quite
a bit--especially with the top loading. Note that these panniers are designed
to be used as lowrider fronts. Berthoud specifically states that they are for
front lowrider mounting. If you try to use them as a rear, you may have heel
clearance issues. Despite the warning from Berthoud i use these on a RBW
Hillborne + Nitto Big Back Rack with no heel clearance issues (size 11 feet).
The Nitto BBR has a really long top platform so i’m able to push the bag pretty
far back, YMMV on whether you can do the same. If you’re comparing this to
the current version of this bag, pay attention to the pictures of the retaining
system (i believe these are the RK style), i think Berthoud has updated them
recently. If you’re comparing to the ones at Compass--don’t, they have
Berthoud make their version of this bag with leather straps instead of the
camlocks for the retaining system, though the rest of the bag looks to be the
same.
As far as condition, there is some light wear on the leather trim and some
rubbing on the back of the bags. Some of the straps are starting to curl,
there are a couple spots where the piping is starting to wear slightly, the
only condition issue is that the previous owner wore through part of the
reflective material on one of the bag sides (perhaps from the aforementioned
heel clearance issue). My plan was to repair it with reflective tape but it
never bothered me enough to address it. I love the look of these bags (they
look great on my french postal inspired bike) but i just don’t use them enough.
Here’s a pic of them on my Hillborne, https://flic.kr/p/c2paNj

Of course i spend time writing all that and left out a note about the
Paselas. The 700x35 wire one is mounted right now because when i took it
out of the closet it was a funny shape (it was under some items), so i
mounted them to make sure they would stay on the rim, its been on for a few
days so looks fine!
