I can't speak to using it on the rear, but I'll betcha someone's tried
it at least once! ;-)
Riv forks (canti-Riv forks, that is) generally have barrel braze-ons
high up on the leg and intended for use with this rack. Sadly, I never
made the leap for the Hunqapillar I'd dreamt of when I acquired the
rack. That and my Legolas doesn't have rack mounts.
I believe it also works with the Platrack system.
