[RBW] Re: ISO: Weight weenie titanium stem binder bolt
There is a gentleman named Jim Merz in Big Sur, CA who fabricates such items from titanium. I know of his excellent work from the Rare Vintage Road Bike Parts (pre 1969) Facebook group. Ti sounds interesting since light and no real reason not to go for Ti I guess if it is lighter, might as well. They look real nice. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. All I know about stems and weight savings from my home scale: *Tech deluxe* 6cm/26.0/190 rise - *287g* *Pearl* 8cm/22.2/26.0-296g *Pearl* 8cm/ 22.2/25.4/ - 299g So if you are getting a short extension, don't be afraid to go Tech deluxe tall if you need height. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
