Beautiful Silver Appaloosa, and the setting of the photo makes me nostalgic for

 I needed it above the seat level, so first got SOMA Hi Rider stem.   
 Turned out it was way too higher than I would need.   VO Threadless Stem 
 Adaptor worked out perfect.  Given (a) Appa's top tube is quite long and 
 (b) Jones bar does not sweep as far back as Alba or Chco NORM, I needed a 
 short stem.  Dimension Threadless stem 31.8/70Mm/125 Degree fit the bill.

I agree it's a little ungainly on a 1-inch quill adapter. It has that effect on 
my Clem L, too, which is excaserbated by the thin double downtubes. I like the 
look of the bars, but it *does* mesh better aesthetically on Jones bikes.

No doubt these are comfortable (I used to run Jones on my fat bike) but I 
can't say I find the 2.5 aesthetically pleasing. That front loop looks 
enormous. Maybe seeing them on more builds will normalize the look.
