Sure! Of course, you won't be permitted to shift or use those brakes during
the ride...but sure!

Will post more details once things warm up a bit more, couple a few weeks.

Hi Bob. We have great riding in every direction here. This was a real
simple route, I will try to google map it for you. Let me know if/when you
plan on coming up this way.

And there's always the Metro-North railroad which, for a one time fee of $5,
allows you to take your bike for a ride to the rides.

[RBW] Re: Ride Report from Beacon: An Applaloosa and a Rivendell Fork Hit the Road

2017-03-28 Thread William R.
Hi Roberta,

The bag is a Sackville Saddlesack XSmall - tan available from Riv here:
https://www.rivbike.com/collections/bags/products/sackville-saddlesack-xsmall-tan
It is a great bag and cavernous for anything with XSmall in its description.
Not so big that it hits the backs of your legs while pedaling.

That area where Mark lives is great riding and worth the trip if it seems far.
I drove up on Saturday from Dobbs Ferry, New York and it took just under a
hour. Next time I hope to also be in "shape" and ride up.

When these future rides happen, all will be welcome.

What is that saddle bag on the Appaloosa? The size looks "perfect."

Also, if you aren't too far up in NYS closer to the NJ line and I get a Riv
and get in shape by then, I might be able to join you.
