[RBW] Re: Riv headbadge T-shirt?
The issue is, running a small to medium size business is hard. Running one that cares about more than the bottom line--quality offerings, sourcing, employees, customers, etc.--has always been even harder. These days it is becoming almost impossible. Perhaps taking enough prepaid preorders to cover production costs would make it feasible. The issue could be unforeseen expenses that aren’t accounted for. As I mentioned in the hail mary thread, they have to buy full runs of each size in minimum quantities, and lots of it languishes on the shelf. Look how long the small and xxl shorts have been on the sale page.T shirts are probably a bit different, but I think the other stuff is a labor of love and probably not feasible under current circumstances. I sure hope there's more eventually, though. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. A Rambouillet blue shirt with a Rambouillet head badge pic on it would be cool. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. I would like to see Riv make a bigger commitment to their entire clothing line. Between my Hunqapillar and Rambouillet I'm all set, bike-wise, so I've pretty much hit a wall in terms of hardware needs. But I'm always in the market for practical, unracer clothing that's suitable both on and off a bike. I can sympathize if Grant wants to stay focused on bikes and avoid morphing into LL Bean, but the fact remains that I have zero need for additional bikey bits. In fact my parts bin is overflowing and I need to sell some stuff off, so stay tuned for that. Anyway, I'd buy a Hunqapillar t-shirt if they made one. Yes, or one using the art that a list member recently shared for a poster, featuring* all *the head badges. Though I will say, it is much harder than you think to make money on t-shirts if you are not a t-shirt company. Stocking the sizes, colors, then print costs, etc. you don't really make much. [RBW] Re: Riv headbadge T-shirt?
Have never seen one. Though I know a few RBW Crew people are on the list, it would certainly help to forward this idea directly to the home office.
