Yeah, I had to use the shortly flap when I mounted the P45 front behind the crown with the fender nut. Not so with the P50 Longboards. They are a much better fit for the 650b IMO. Jim- I had the same problem on my Riv Road conversion (650x38b), so I swapped out the long front mudflap for the shorty flap Riv sells. i just received the p55 and the front is short, not long like the p45 longboards i have. i read that all longboard thing too, and was a little disappointed. ill add a little old fender to the front.
