Ha, Patrick, you're right about freewheels. Those shots were taken on the bike's maiden voyage. And since I'd never ridden fixed before, it was on the freewheel side of the wheel for the first few rides. These days, the 'beam is running fixed about 80% of the time and I'm loving it! Thanks to all for the kind words. The bike is a joy to ride and not a bad looker either.
