In answer to my previously unanswered question, I used empiricism to find that Hetres (and probably fenders?) do in fact fit on a 50cm Saluki. The front fit fine, no modification required. The rear fender didn't fit between the chain stays, so I cut it down to fit it between the stays. That's a cool paint job. I tried Hetres on a Bleriot but I think they accentuate the wheel flop too much.
