Yep, Bill and George, 26 wheels. Oh my gosh, that's beautiful! I LOVE the twin diaga-tubes. Sort of Breeze-esque which is, to my eye, much more elegant than the lugged, single, full-size diaga-tube at the front triangle.Did they do this for you because expressly because you needed a smaller frame, where the other option wouldn't fit? Or did you have both options and choose this? And, if the later, I wonder if ANYONE will have the option to build an Appaloosa that way!!! Hmmm... I thought I saw a photo of a prototype larger frame somewhere (for an appaloosa or something else, I can't remember) that had the twin tubes like this, but got the feeling it was dismissed. I just meant that the same bike without the diagatubelets at all would still ride like a bike. It would lose some of its sea-creature-ness, though. I love the spanning H2O cage tubelets. Paint; build; sounds like just in time for spring! Diagatubelettes at the headtube are also a thing of beauty. You can imagine how giddy I am. Liesl, What a treat to see your beauty pre-paint, what fascinates me is the uniqueness of those tublettes's in the rear triangle sweeping in different directions just fabulous! I don't think I've ever seen a bike with that before. s I don't know if the snow would help me I'd be chomping at the* bit *(*appaloosa appropriate phrase*)and would probably be a nuisance and fly out to follow it around. Seriously, I look forward to seeing her built with all the accouterments...and see it live in person at the MSP Riv Rally. Far out frame! It looks like the tentacular stays would move, as through water, as you ride. Very artistic and, if it was named after a nautical theme, rather than Apaloosa, it would definitely be cool to clear coat it for that bottom of the sea look.
