Thanks, Deacon. I'm half Filipino and doubtless that's why I don't look
like Keith Richards. (He is horribly fascinating...)

You may look older than your years, but you ride a lot younger!

Fantastic birthday ruminitions, Patrick! You look far younger than your years,
so you are aging well.

I have looked older than I am sincle I was fifteen. Since my mid-20’s, people
add 20 years to my actual age. Now, upper 40’s, I recently got confirmation of
this when I heard hikers passing by and the man, seeing my tire tracks in the
snow but not me, described the guy he saw riding his bike yesterday: “in his
sixties and riding a fixed gear!” Then he saw me, because I waved and said
hello. “Oh, there he is!” Somehow not understanding how loud he is, he told me
everything again, except for the age bit. Grin. I bit my cheeks till they were
around the bend, then I fell over laughing.

Happy belated birthday!

With abandon,
Patrick

Thank you. I was googling old music and came across Sgt Peppers and early
Rolling Stones; amazing that the latter are still cavorting on stage;
shameless!

Can't decide whether to take the gofast for a nice sunny ride today; or the
Matthews for the budding trees in the bosque; or do a shopping run on the
errand Riv.

Patrick,

Wonderful post. Could have been written by Grant on his Blahg - especially
since he likes to include musical references. In 1968 I had no thought of
turning 64 but here I am as well and actually a bit beyond.
Birthday wishes and I hope you have more delightful spring rides.
