[RBW] Re: WTB/ISO Crust Juan Martin Bars for 1993 Bridgestone XO-2
Hi Emmet, I sent you a message but it could have gone to spam so I’ll make a post here. I have a black 26mm clamp Juan Martin that I’m willing to sell. I saw the post but had to think about it for a bit. Fell free to message me if you are interested! [RBW] Re: WTB/ISO Crust Juan Martin Bars for 1993 Bridgestone XO-2
The new Simworks X Golden Pliers bar look like they could be an interesting option if you go with a 31.8 stem. I had the Juan's on my XO and while I did enjoy them, wanted a little more rise for the stem combo I was running. [RBW] Re: WTB/ISO Crust Juan Martin Bars for 1993 Bridgestone XO-2
Hi Chris, I think the singles bar is a 25.4 clamp, my current stem is 26.0. If I'm swapping stems I may go for a 31.8 to get something decently wider. I have really been enjoying hitting all the rough stuff on this bike. Thanks for the offer though! RE: fork It's definitely tight spacing and looks a little goofy. Eyeing up the kory york forks for some wider clearance. I have a friend with an XO-4 that he initially crimped the original unicrown fork, but he eventually had Ellis cycles build him a new one( he has 26x2.3" thunder burts in there now). Cheers! [RBW] Re: WTB/ISO Crust Juan Martin Bars for 1993 Bridgestone XO-2
I've got a sycip singles bar which is similar to the Juan Martin's for sale. Also, how's that front v-brake working? I have a 93 xo-3 with the narrow spacing between studs, I think the xo-2 was the same frame/fork with different component spec. Chris NYC On Monday, 21 November 2022 at 22:41:13 UTC-5 R. Nice build. is the crank 110 BCD? Must be with the 33 ring. The bar set up is interesting.
