Correctomundo, Bill. I "sized up" to a 52cm Clem L for the long (virtual) 
toptube and still had to lop 2 inches off the Boscos. These bars are best for 
towniefying old mountain bikes with "NORBA geometry": really long toptubes 
connected to short headtubes.

Bosco's do reach WAY up but they also reach WAY back.  If a bike is already 
small for you might have your knees bumping your hands with Boscos.  Since 
you are just experimenting, have fun with it.  Generally, when I look for a 
Bosco bike, I look to start with a bike that would be too big for me with 
any other bar.
